Diabetes is a leading cause of Peripheral Arterial Disease, or PAD, which is the blockage of arteries that supply blood to the legs and feet. Diabetics over the age of 50 should have an annual screening for PAD. The screening is a painless ultrasound that takes less than 15 minutes. Screenings are offered regularly at our main office, centrally located in the South Side of San Antonio!
