This program has been approved by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education. In order to self-manage diabetes effectively it is important to engage in diabetes self-management education programs. These programs cover a variety of helpful content - nutrition management, the importance of physical activity, medication management, glucose monitoring, and the psychosocial issues related to diabetes. At Baptist, we are committed to making a difference for the people we serve, starting with diabetes education, prevention and treatment. Our network of primary care physicians offer diabetes management for Type 1, Type 2, Pre-diabetes, and Gestational Diabetes to help you maintain your health.
